This website and the ebook sales service are operated by Tanmay Mandal in India.

2. Information We May Collect

• Contact details you provide, such as your name and email address.
• Purchase details such as the product, order/transaction reference, payment status, amount, and date.
• Support messages and information you send when asking for help.
• Basic technical data made available through normal website, hosting, or security operation, such as IP address, browser/device type, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. That provider may collect payment-card, UPI, banking, wallet, billing, authentication, and transaction information under its own privacy policy.

We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, banking passwords, OTPs, or similar payment authentication secrets on this website.

4. How We Use Information

• Operate the sales, checkout-redirection, thank-you, download, and support experience.
• Verify and fulfil ebook purchases and provide download access.
• Send transaction- or support-related communications.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, and security incidents.
• Maintain records where reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
• Respond to lawful requests and protect legal rights.

We do not treat a purchase as automatic consent to unrelated promotional marketing.

5. Consent and Lawful Processing

Where consent is required under applicable Indian data-protection law, we will seek it for a clear and stated purpose. You may withdraw consent for future consent-based processing by emailing contact@tanmaymandal.com.

Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed, and information may still be retained where the law permits or requires it.

We do not sell personal data. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with payment processors, hosting/security/email/file-delivery providers, professional advisers where needed, and public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

7. Cookies, Local Storage and Tracking

The current website may load ordinary third-party resources such as web fonts.

If analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, marketing cookies, conversion tracking, or similar advertising technologies are added later, this Policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated accordingly.

8. Retention and Security

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for purchase fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, disputes, security, or legal compliance. When no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised, or otherwise handled appropriately, subject to lawful retention duties and technical limitations.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Subject to applicable law and the circumstances, you may ask about the processing of your personal data, request correction or updating, request erasure where applicable, withdraw consent for future consent-based processing, or raise a grievance.

The ebook is intended for a general audience interested in game development and is not designed to knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Where a person cannot legally complete a purchase independently, a parent or lawful guardian should be involved as required by law.

Payment, hosting, email, security, file-delivery, or other service providers may process information in India or other countries. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy practices and applicable law.

When you use a third-party service, including a payment provider, review that provider's privacy notice. This Policy applies only to processing for which we are responsible.
